Camping in Easter Holiday

I'll never forget my first camping in the Easter holiday. It was a YMCA camp. We went to Wu Kai Sha with a group of children. There were all boys. My good friend, Jeff played with me too.

The first night, we took our torch and went to find the clues and answer them. The next day, the tutor took us to the playground to play ball games and drew pictures on the T-shirt. The most exciting game was on the last day. We went to the three shopping malls to look for different things and places in a short time. Then we took a KCR to a university to look for a person born in March and sang a song to him. I never played all these games before. They were fun.

This camp is unforgettable. I hope I can go again with Jeff.

My 'Horrible Harry' series

My mom bought me a pack of 'Horrible Harry' Books, written by Suzy Kline. I read one called 'The Purple People' tonight. I love it because the pictures are beautiful and the story is funny. There are many purple people in the classroom but the teachers can't see them.

This book has 53 pages and I finished reading the book in thirty minutes. I will read other 'Horrible Harry' stories in the holiday.

My new present

I did well in my piano exam and my Mum bought me a box of game, named 'Traffic Control Airport'. I have to put each puzzle onto the board so that all aeroplanes are in the right location and flying in the right direction. There are 4 levels and 48 challenges in this game.

It's a game I can play alone. But mommy and dad like to play too. This game makes us think more and becomes smarter. We cried out loud when we got it right and went up a level.

I would like to recommend this game to all of you.

An extra holiday

I wished so much last night it's a holiday today. I slept very late telling mom, 'We don't have to sleep early because it's typhoon No.8 tomorrow.' Mom said, 'What if not?' Then I slept at 11.30 pm.

This morning I feel very very happy and excited. I don't have to go to school. This is the first I have an extra holiday because of typhoon No. 8.

Mommy also has an extra holiday too, but she is still busy. So I cannot play with her. Poor me!

I decide to play games and play the piano today. Also, I will read some books too!

The last table tennis lesson

I had my last table tennis lesson today. My coach wanted us to have races with my team mates. I won three games and lose one game. Also, my coach gave us a certificate. It makes me happy.

I will start another course in the summer holiday. I hope I can learn more skills and win more games in the races. My Mom and Dad don't play well and they always mix up the rules. I will teach them at the holiday.

My New Book

My Uncle bought me a new Chinese book, called'小朋友最想知道的世界大發明'. I learnt something about how people create different things, like newspaper, bicycles, instant noodles and computer. Those are interesting stories.

I like the story about instant noodles the most because now I know the noodles are fried and they were created in 1955 by a Japanese. His name was: 安藤百福.

I thank 安藤百福 for his noodles because without him, I cannot eat 出前一丁.

My teacher Miss Lau gave me the mark sheet, I felt happy because I got 124/150, passing with Merit.

My Exam Results

I got my exam results yesterday. My marks are:

Chinese I - 67/70
Chinese II - 61/70
Chinese Dictation - 97/100
Chinese Listening - 35/50
English I - 93/100
English II - 95/100
English Dictation - 98/100
English Listening - 96/100
Maths - 91/100

I felt happy because I got number 1 for Chinese Paper I. I am now waiting for my General Studies paper, I hope I can get full marks.

My New Friend

I made friends with a boy I have never seen. His name is Gareth. He is eight years old. He likes playing soccer and reading. He likes green. He lives in Sha Tin too. Mum said I will see him soon. I hope to play with him.
