The Beijing 2008 Olympics

The Beijing 2008 Olympics was so good. The buildings like Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube are gorgeous!!! China used a lot of money to make them. I heard from TV the Water Cube's bubbles on the wall inside and outside are hard to be broken.There were different events to play there.

There were so many games to watch on TV like swimming and table tennis, I like Volleyball the most. It was so exciting. I also like diving and table tennis.

In China, there are many people are good at sports, like Liu Xiang, he can run so fast, but before the competition, he hurt his leg. I wanted to see Liu Xiang very much. I hope he can get better soon and help us to get more gold medals in the London 2012 Olympics. I also think Yang Wei is a good sportsman. He’s good at gymnstics and won 2 medals.

In table tennis both women & men competitions, China got the gold, silver and the bronze medals. I am so proud of them. I hope I can play well like them. My new idol is Ma Lin.

China got the most number of gold medals in the world. Now China has 49 gold medals. Will China get over 50?

The Opening Ceremony was great. The firework was beautiful! Will the Closing Ceremony be more exciting?

Another Fun Day with My Friend, Gareth

Yesterday, Gareth and Auntie Icy went to my home this time. We played the whole day, Gareth and I were very happy. Things we did yesterday:

11.30 am Playing Scrabble & Traffic Control Airport
1.00 pm Lunch
1.30 pm Playing Lego and computer games
3.30 pm Eating snacks ( jelly+ fish sausage)
4.00 pm Playing table tennis
5.00 pm Playing toys & Animals Chess
8.00 pm Dinner
8.30 pm Animal Chess & Uno
9.30 pm Gareth went home

This time I lent Gareth three 'Freddy' series books. Gareth read 2 books within one hour. At night, when I walked Gareth and Auntie Icy to their car, I missed them already. Later, Gareth called me and asked can I go to his home on Friday. Good! Our moms said YES! I wish Friday will come soon.

A Fun Day in Ocean Park

Last Saturday, my Mom’s student, Cara invited Mom and I to Ocean Park. This is the fourth time I went to Ocean Park. It was very hot, the temperature was almost 34 degrees.

First, we lined up and took a cable car to the Headland. In the cable car, I could see many plants, mountains and sea. It was very beautiful. And we took some photos.

After the ride, we went to the ‘Headland Rides’. We played the ‘Crazy Galleon’, it is a big swinging boat. I felt frighten and my heart was like jumping out when it swing high. I screamed but my mom screamed even louder. And I saw a man sitting in front of us, he put his hands on his ears! My Mom’s students and another teacher, Miss Yau sat on the last row.

After that, we wanted to try ‘The Abyss Turbo Drop’. But while we were lining up, I herd some strange noises from the ride, so I didn’t take that ride.

Next, we went to ride on the ‘Mine Train’. It is not very scary but when it rushed down from the high points, it was like the train was not moving on the track. I was like falling out of the train. I screamed loud again, but mommy screamed louder again.

Then, we went to the ‘Adventure Land’ to play ‘Raging River’. I liked it because the water was cool. We rushed down and all my clothes got wet, but my Mom wore a rain coat given by her student, so she didn’t got wet. We played this twice because we want more wet.

In the evening, we stopped and had a drink with many ice. It makes me cooler. Then, we went to a fast food shop named ‘Golden Fried Chicken’ for dinner. It was 9.30 pm already . My Mom bought some chicken wings and fries. They were yummy.

After dinner, we went to have a ride in the’ Ocean Park Tower’ to look at the night view and take some photos. Then we went to the ‘Atoll Reef’ to look at fish, sharks and different kinds of ocean animals. The fish tank is so big like the ocean. I like ‘devil fish’ the most. But I was not very happy because I could not go to ‘Jelly Fish Spectacular’ because we had no time.

This time, I felt I was brave because I played many adult rides. Last time, I went to the ‘Children Kingdom’ only. I miss the Shark Museum and the Dinosaur Museum a lot, but they disappeared. We played from 5.30 pm to 10.30 pm. I hope I can play few more hours.
